The word "AHIMSA" is derived from Hindi and literally means non-violence. It is also one of the ancient Indian virtues.
Ahimsa silk is produced by an innovative process in which the silkworms spontaneously exit the cocoons as they mature and then fly away as moths. It takes 7 to 10 days. Only after leaving the cocoon does the actual production of Ahimsa silk begin. The spinning process takes about two months and the weaving takes another month. This method is much more time-consuming and labor-intensive, unlike the popular one, but does it matter when we consider the welfare of silkworms?

The creator and inventor of this method of silk production is Kusuma Rajaiah, who lives in India, who after many years of research patented Ahimsa silk and introduced it for sale. It is a great pleasure to work with him and thus be sure that I use the original raw material.
Ahimsa silk has all the wonderful properties of traditional silk.
It is very durable and extremely soft to the touch. It has a beautiful cream color. Takes care of the skin, adapts to external conditions; cools or heats depending on the temperature. It is completely natural and biodegradable.
